Expert-Quality Exhibition Artwork Design

Illustrator / Large-Format Designer — Exhibition Stand Graphics (3 panels) The job Three large-format banner graphics for a UK family protection firm's stand at a major consumer show. Illustration-led, warm and cartoon-style, in an existing brand. We have a house illustration style we want continued, and we will send examples. Panels Panel Size (w × h) Back wall 6.0m × 2.3m Side return 1.85m × 2.3m Side return 1.85m × 2.3m Artwork only. We handle print and build. The one constraint that decides this job The stand looks perfect empty. The moment the hall fills, everything below roughly 1.5m from the floor is behind somebody's head. So: nothing load-bearing goes low. Company name, headline, offer and any call to action must all sit in the top 800mm — between 1500mm and 2300mm from the floor. Below that line is illustration and colour only. If a visitor can read the whole message from ten metres away while forty people stand in front of the stand, you have done the job. If the headline sits at eye level, you have not. Assume a 100mm allowance at the very top for the frame rail. Also required Readable at 10m. Headline cap height 90mm or more. Nothing under 40mm anywhere. Vector-first. Type outlined, illustration scalable. Raster elements at 1:1 must be 150dpi minimum, or 300dpi at 1:10. CMYK, print-ready PDF/X-4 plus packaged source files. Bleed and safe area to a spec we will confirm once the frame system is finalised — build the files so that changing it does not mean redrawing. Seam-aware composition on the 6m panel. It will almost certainly print in more than one section. No face, no logo and no word may fall across a join. Designed to survive hard exhibition spotlighting — no subtle low-contrast tonal work. Brand Poppins throughout. Palette is navy #112939, brand navy #014B6E, brand cyan #4AB4E6, cyan #68B2E0, pale blue #BFDFF3, pale fill #EAF6FC. No red, amber or green. This is a fixed rule across everything we produce. It is also the interesting problem in this brief: we want the stand to be genuinely eye-catching without the three colours most people reach for. Show us you can do that. Audience is new and expecting parents. Warm, friendly, human. No fear imagery, nothing sombre, no clichés of the sector. Practicalities Budget: £250 fixed for all three panels. Timeline: ASAP — the show is the largest date in our year. Milestones: (1) back-wall concept approved, (2) all three panels finished and print-ready. Two revision rounds included. Ongoing work likely: we run several shows a year plus a print and email programme.
