Expert Shopify Developer Needed for Comprehensive Store Build and Optimization

We and our partners are seeking a seasoned Shopify expert—both designer and developer—to take our e-commerce presence to the next level. This is not a simple one-off project: if you deliver exceptional work, we have ongoing tasks and follow-on projects lined up, ranging from theme updates and bug fixes to full store builds, landing pages, A/B tests, and back-end integrations 1. Project Scope A. Full Shopify Store Setup & Design • Create a custom, mobile-first Shopify store (homepage, product pages, about, contact, blog, etc.) • Implement a clean, modern aesthetic consistent with our brand colors, fonts, and visual standards • Design product pages optimized for conversions—incorporate reviews, bundles, subscription options B. Theme Customization & Layout Enhancement • Deep customization of Shopify themes using HTML5, CSS3, Liquid, and JavaScript • Integrate our high quality branded assets (product images, graphics, educational blocks) into a professional layout • Restructure sections to highlight product benefits, bundles, and educational content C. Payment & Checkout Integration • Set up and test Shopify Payments (credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay) and PayPal checkout flows • Ensure a seamless, secure, and fully responsive checkout experience D. App & Email Marketing Integration • Configure essential Shopify apps: email marketing (Klaviyo preferred), reviews, subscription services, and more • Integrate third party APIs and back end systems as needed E. Performance Optimization & SEO • Optimize site speed, image compression, and code efficiency for fast load times • Implement SEO best practices: clean URLs, meta tags, schema markup, and structured navigation F. Landing Pages, A/B Testing & Custom Features • Build high converting landing pages with animations and custom user experiences • Implement A/B tests to refine design, calls to action, and user flows • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to iterate on user experience G. Ongoing Maintenance & Bug Fixes • Provide prompt theme adjustments and bug resolution under our long term collaboration agreement • Monitor site health, performance, and UX consistency across all devices ________________________________________ 2. Key Requirements • 5+ years of hands on Shopify development and design experience • Expertise in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design • Proven track record customizing Shopify themes and optimizing e commerce stores • Familiarity with payment gateways (Shopify Payments, PayPal) and app integrations • Experience with A/B testing tools, landing page builders, and performance optimization • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently under tight deadlines • Portfolio with 2–3 live Shopify stores demonstrating custom designs, mobile optimization, and conversion focused layouts ________________________________________ 3. Deliverables & Timeline • Initial Audit & Wireframes (Week 1): Site audit, proposed wireframes/layouts, and project plan • Theme Development & Customization (Weeks 2–3): Build and refine custom theme, integrate assets, and configure pages • App & Payment Integration (Week 3): Set up Shopify Payments, PayPal, and essential apps • Optimization & Testing (Week 4): Speed and SEO enhancements, responsive testing across devices, A/B test setup • Final Review & Launch (End of Week 4): Address feedback, polish UI/UX, and go live Note: We’re ready to start immediately and expect a 3–4 week turnaround for the initial build.
