Expert Structural Engineer – Nonlinear Dynamic Modeling & Failure/Collapse Simulation

Job Description: We are seeking an expert Structural Engineer or FEA Specialist to perform advanced dynamic modeling on a steel frame building The primary objective is to simulate and visualize structural performance under extreme conditions, specifically focused on failure mechanisms and progressive collapse. We require a high-quality video/animation output showing exactly how and where the structure fails when pushed beyond its limits. Scope of Work: Develop a 3D nonlinear finite element model of the structure. Perform Nonlinear Time History Analysis (NTHA) or Explicit Dynamics simulations. Model material failure, buckling, and fracture propagation. Deliverable: A high-fidelity video/animation of the failure sequence, along with a technical summary of the stress/strain results. Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience in Nonlinear Structural Analysis and Progressive Collapse Modeling. Proficiency in high-end simulation software such as LS-DYNA, Abaqus, Extreme Loading for Structures (ELS), or ANSYS (Explicit). Strong background in material science (plasticity, fracturing, and yielding). Ability to provide clear, visual "failure videos" that are technically accurate and easy to interpret.
