Expert Vector Artist Needed for Precision Tracing of Organic Script & Hand-Drawn Linework Project Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled vector graphic artist with exceptional attention to detail to convert a series of organic, hand-drawn raster images into pristine, scalable vector files. This project requires capturing the exact nuance, fluidity, and character of unique script and variable-width linework. The ideal candidate must be a master of the Pen tool in Adobe Illustrator and capable of meticulous manual tracing—automated "Live Trace" results will not be accepted. Key Responsibilities Manual Precision Tracing: Convert low-to-medium resolution raster scans of custom, fluid linework and script into high-precision vector paths. Preserve Organic Character: Maintain the exact flow, subtle pen-pressure variations, and unique natural characteristics of the original artwork without over-smoothing or losing critical detail. Path Optimization: Ensure all vector files are built with clean geometry, utilizing the minimum number of anchor points necessary to achieve perfectly smooth Bezier curves. Asset Exporting: Deliver finalized assets in SVG file format Required Skills & Qualifications Proven mastery of Adobe Illustrator (or equivalent professional vector software). A strong portfolio demonstrating deep experience with typography, calligraphy, custom lettering, or intricate line art vectorization. Deep understanding of how to accurately translate fluid, hand-drawn strokes into clean, professional digital vectors.
