Expert YouTube Editor (Women's Wellness / Longevity Channel)

We are launching a premium faceless YouTube channel focused on women's wellness, longevity, hormones, menopause, HRT, health optimization, and aging well. Looking for an expert editor with a keen eye - NO AGENCIES PLEASE. Think: High-end documentary storytelling Premium editorial aesthetic Sophisticated, intelligent, visually beautiful Designed specifically for women ages 45–60 This is NOT a fast-paced influencer channel. We are looking for someone who understands taste, restraint, elegance, and visual storytelling. Project Scope 8–10 minute YouTube videos Approximately 1 video per week to start Long-term relationship preferred Scripts provided Voiceover provided PAY is $7 per finished minute (access to Artlist will be included for the right editor who can fully utilize its stock footage, AI generation, and music capabilities - but I do not want this to be the only source!) Your job is to transform the script into a visually compelling premium viewing experience. Required Skills 1. Understanding Women 45–60 This is critical. Most editors select footage that skews either: Too young (30s lifestyle influencers) Too old (retirement-home energy) We need women who realistically represent ages 45–60. You must understand this demographic and be able to source footage that feels aspirational, modern, healthy, intelligent, and authentic. Please provide examples of work targeting this age group. 2. Premium B-Roll Selection You must know how to source and curate high-end footage. We are not looking for generic stock footage. Please tell us: Which stock libraries you use Which libraries you prefer and why Which libraries you would recommend for a premium wellness brand We want footage that feels cinematic and expensive. 3. Motion Graphics & Visual Explanations Many videos involve topics such as: Estrogen decline Menopause Hormone fluctuations Hair loss Metabolism changes Sleep disruption Brain fog Longevity science You must be able to create tasteful visual explanations. Examples: Estrogen levels gradually declining over time Hormone pathways in the body Before/after biological processes Cellular aging concepts Scientific concepts simplified visually Please provide examples of motion graphics work. 4. AI-Assisted Visual Creation There will be situations where stock footage does not exist. We want an editor who understands modern AI workflows. Examples: Hyperrealistic AI-generated images AI image animation AI-assisted scene creation Creating custom visuals that match the channel aesthetic Please tell us: Which AI tools you currently use Your workflow Examples of AI-generated work you have incorporated into videos 5. Storytelling & Taste The most important skill. We are not looking for flashy editing.
