Summary **FB Marketplace Deal Scout – Ongoing Remote Role** I'm looking for a sharp, fast-moving deal hunter to monitor Facebook Marketplace on my behalf and identify underpriced, free, or motivated-seller listings in the Atlanta, GA area that I can acquire and resell - either via facebook marketplace, ebay, or Amazon **What you'll be doing:** - Monitor FB Marketplace daily for deals matching criteria I provide (free items, heavily discounted, motivated sellers, etc.) - Message sellers directly — messages should sound natural and conversational - Flag promising deals to me with a brief summary (item, asking price, your estimated resale value, condition) — urgent deals flagged accordingly - Track activity and results in a simple shared Google Sheet **What I'm NOT looking for:** - Someone who sends me every listing they see — quality over quantity. Will have profit minimums - Someone who can't move fast — good deals go within minutes - Someone who needs hand-holding on resale value judgment - Robotic or template-sounding messages — sellers can tell **Technical requirements:** - Must use a US-based residential proxy or VPN set to Atlanta, GA to ensure accurate FB Marketplace location results - Comfortable operating FB account on my behalf **Compensation:** - Flat fee per successful purchase - % of profit once the item sells - We can discuss these numbers, open to negotiation during interview process between candidates **Ideal candidate:** - Has done FB Marketplace flipping, deal sourcing, or resale work before - Excellent judge of resale value across general merchandise categories — this is non-negotiable. Need to know a good deal when you seen one - Excellent written English — natural, friendly, and persuasive without sounding like a bot - Must work Eastern Time hours and monitor facebook as much as possible - Responsive and proactive - Has knowledge of current fb marketplace buying best practices and any applicable softwares **Project scope:** This is an ongoing role with performance-based upside. I am usually available to pickup items soon, especially in my area, and especially for great deals. Some free things and truly great deals go within minutes, the right candidate is constantly scouring facebook, refreshing for new deals, and using strategies/softwares to stay on the cutting edge. The more I buy/pickup, the more you earn.
