Summary

Facebook Community Engagement Assistant I am a contemporary artist looking for someone to help me rebuild and grow an active community around my work on Facebook. Facebook has historically been one of my strongest sources of clients, particularly through women's business, entrepreneurship and empowerment groups. I already belong to a substantial number of relevant Facebook groups, and I am looking for someone who can help me become consistently active and visible within those communities again. This is not a content creation, social media management or reel-editing role. I am specifically looking for someone who understands Facebook community building and Facebook Groups, enjoys talking to people and knows how to create genuine conversations rather than leaving generic engagement comments. What you will be doing You will spend approximately 30 minutes per session: - Engaging regularly in selected women's Facebook groups as my Artist Page. - Joining conversations around women's empowerment, women's leadership, entrepreneurship, personal development, women in business and women supporting women. - Leaving thoughtful, natural comments and developing conversations with other members. - Returning to previous conversations and responding when people engage back. - Participating in “introduce yourself”, “share your business”, “tell us what you do” and similar community posts. - Sharing approved photographs of me and my artwork where relevant. - Responding to people who engage with my artwork. - Recognising when somebody is showing genuine interest in my work and helping move promising conversations into Messenger, where I can personally take over. - Gradually learning which communities are producing the most valuable conversations and relationships. The objective is not to leave as many comments as possible. I am interested in genuine relationships, meaningful conversations and becoming a recognisable member of these communities. I will provide a comprehensive manual explaining my background, my audience, my values, how I communicate, examples of the types of comments I would make, how to engage around women's issues, how to introduce me in groups, how to recognise potential client interest and when a conversation should be handed over to me. I will also provide an organised library of approved photographs and artwork, so you will have clear guidance and materials to work with. Who I am looking for Excellent written English is essential. British English is preferred, although not essential. More importantly, your English needs to sound natural and conversational. I do not want corporate language, generic social-media comments or AI-generated-sounding responses. You should: - Have experience using Facebook Groups and understand how Facebook communities work. - Be a naturally good communicator who enjoys talking to people. - Have good judgement and understand the difference between genuine conversation and obvious marketing. - Be comfortable communicating in another person's voice after learning how they speak. - Have an interest in women's empowerment, entrepreneurship, personal development and women supporting women. - Be reliable and comfortable working independently from a detailed brief. - Understand that quality of interaction matters considerably more than quantity. Previous experience with community building is strongly preferred. Experience with art is useful but not essential. Hours Initially, this will be approximately 30 minutes per session, five sessions per week, spread across different days of the week, including some weekend activity. I would like to begin with a one-month trial. If we work well together and I see that you understand my voice and are building meaningful relationships, I am looking for someone who can continue long-term. There is also potential for the role to expand. When applying Please do not send me a generic social-media proposal. I want to get a sense of how you actually communicate. Please answer these four questions: 1. What experience do you have with community building or engaging inside Facebook Groups? 2. Have you previously represented another person or business when responding to comments and conversations? 3. What interests you about working in women's business and empowerment communities? 4. Imagine someone comments underneath one of my paintings: “There is something about this woman. I absolutely love her.” How would you reply? Please include your availability.
