Faceless Documentary Editor for Scandals
Worldwide
Faceless Documentary Editor — Indian Corporate-Scandals Channel (Long-term, retainer potential) I'm launching a faceless, narration-driven documentary channel covering India's biggest corporate and financial scandals — think investigative storytelling in the vein of Magnates Media / Company Man, applied to Indian markets. I write and voice every episode; I need an editor who can turn a finished voiceover + script into a polished, high-retention documentary. The work, per episode: Edit a voiceover-narrated documentary, [12–15] minutes to start (longer episodes later as the channel grows). Source and sync B-roll, archival footage, and stills that match the script beat-by-beat. Build clean motion graphics for the data moments — timelines, fund-flow diagrams, figure call-outs, simple charts. (This is a financial-scandals channel; numbers and "how the scam worked" sequences are core, not decoration.) Captions/subtitles, sound design, music, pacing for retention. Hard requirements — please don't apply without these: Copyright fluency is non-negotiable. This channel uses news clips, archival material, and images of real people and events. You must know how to stay monetization-safe — avoiding Content ID claims and strikes through licensed/public-domain/transformative use, recreations, stock, and graphics. Tell me, in your application, how you handle copyrighted archival material. A portfolio in documentary / finance / history / true-crime storytelling — not generic talking-head or social edits. Narrative pacing is the whole job. You source your own footage and assets. I provide voiceover + script + a visual cue sheet; you bring the visuals. Licensed asset subscriptions (Artlist / Epidemic Sound / Motion Array / Envato or equivalent) strongly preferred, so music and footage are clean for monetization. How this works: Paid test — one 60–90 second segment, flat [₹750–1,000], so I can see your craft on my actual content before committing. If it lands, per-episode work at [₹6,000–10,000] depending on length and complexity, with a view to a monthly retainer (e.g., [4] episodes/month) once we're a proven fit. Terms: 2 revision rounds included per episode. Turnaround target: [5–7] days per episode. To apply, send: 2–3 portfolio links, ideally same-niche, with the documentary/storytelling work front and center. One line on how you handle copyrighted archival footage. Your software (Premiere / After Effects / DaVinci / CapCut) and your asset libraries. Availability and typical per-episode turnaround. Long-term, reliable collaboration is the goal — I'd rather find one editor and grow with them than churn through gigs.
