Fantasy App Icon & Background Art for Mobile Soundscape App

I’m looking for an artist/designer to create a cohesive visual package for my mobile app, Moonveil. Moonveil is a fantasy soundscape app for sleep, reading, writing, focus, relaxation, meditation and creative work. The app is already live on iOS and Google Play, and I want to improve its visual identity with a new app icon and a matching fantasy background that better supports the current UI and overall mood of the app. The app icon will also be used across social media profiles, promotional posts, app store listings and other Moonveil branding, so it needs to work well both as a small iOS/Android app icon and as a recognisable brand mark. I’m looking for a semi-realistic fantasy style with moonlit, atmospheric, calm and slightly mysterious vibes. The feeling should be magical and immersive, but also have some warmth and coziness rather than feeling cold, harsh or overly dark. Think quiet fantasy places, moonlight, mist, soft glowing windows, distant forests, candlelit ambience, gentle magic, night skies and a sense of escape. The background needs to complement the current dark blue / moonlit UI rather than fight against it. It should help the app feel more polished and premium, while still leaving enough visual space for UI elements to sit clearly on top. I do not want anything overly busy, overly bright, too corporate, too close to generic meditation branding, or just a flat blue fog background. I want depth, variation and atmosphere without visual clutter. The app icon should feel premium, distinctive and readable at small size. It should fit the same world as the background and feel like Moonveil: moonlit fantasy atmosphere, not generic wellness branding. I’m open to your concept ideas, but it should work as both an app icon and a social media profile image. Deliverables would include one final app icon / brand mark, a 1024 x 1024 high-resolution PNG export suitable for app stores, a version suitable for social media profile use if adjustments are needed, one main portrait background artwork for mobile app use, and 2 to 4 simple cropped or adjusted variants for app store screenshots and promotional use. Layered/source files would be appreciated if available. I’m looking for original artist-created work. Please do not use major generative AI image creation for the concept or final artwork. Minor software-assisted tools such as Photoshop clean-up, masking, adjustments or enhancement are fine, but the core artwork and design should be created by the artist/designer. Please include relevant portfolio examples, especially fantasy illustration, semi-realistic environment art, atmospheric digital painting, app icon design, mobile app visuals or game-adjacent visual design.
