Fantasy Writer Needed for Recurring Fitness Adventure Game Stories — $500/story

Write a short fantasy story for Fitness Adventure. Fitness Adventure is a fitness fantasy board game you play by moving your body in real life. Every day you move your body intentionally, just ten minutes counts, you get to move your token around the board, roll the dice, and attack the monster. A player can defeat a monster in 30 to 60 days of consistent working out. As the player makes progress toward defeating the monster, they unlock chapters of a story that reveal how the hero is defeating the monster. The story acts as a reward for doing the thing they hate doing, and it acts as incentive to keep going so they can come back and find out what happens next. The story should be ten chapters long with approximately 500 to 1,000 words in each chapter. In each chapter the hero should make progress toward defeating the monster. Each chapter should end with some sort of cliff hanger that keeps the player excited to find out what happens next. Twice during the story a mini-monster will pop up, and our hero will have to defeat that mini-monster before they can advance to defeat the main monster. The story should mimic the style of our past stories, and exist seamlessly within the fantasy world we’ve created, Feylin. We rely heavily on existing fantasy lore, creatures, and tropes while keeping the emotional investment of the reader high through action packed scenes, character development, and high narrative stakes. You’ll be given our current library of four main monster stories and our two quick start Snicklespark stories to ensure you’re able to write with the same style and inside the same world we’re building. You may use AI in your writing process, but it is very important that the end product does not read like it was written by AI. All of our illustrations are drawn by hand by a human artist, and our players value an old school, analog feel inside the game. Deliverables, Timeline, Compensation Deliverable: One ten chapter story between 5,000 and 7,000 words long that fits seamlessly into our current catalog. Timeline: First draft would be delivered by the end of the day on September 17th, and one round of consolidated revisions based on client feedback due by September 21st Compensation: $500 flat fee
