Fashion/ Artisan Sourcing Specialist – India, Turkey, US, Poland, Brazil, Vietnam or Indonesia

I am the founder of a U.S.-based luxury handcrafted fashion brand specializing in sculpted wearable pieces made using macramé and knotting techniques. I am looking for an experienced local sourcing specialist to help identify and vet skilled artisans in your country who can hand-produce wearable macramé garments from reference samples and specifications. This is NOT a search for basic macramé décor, wall hangings, plant holders or hobby-level crafters. The artisans must have the skill level necessary to create structured, detailed wearable fashion pieces such as dresses, tops, skirts and accessories. For this project, I need you to: • Locate approximately 5–10 qualified artisans or small workshops in your country • Personally contact and pre-screen the strongest candidates • Confirm their experience creating wearable garments • Obtain photos/videos of previous work • Determine whether they can reproduce designs accurately from references and measurements • Confirm whether they have access to 3mm, 4mm and 5mm quality cord, including polyester/polypropylene and cotton options • Confirm whether they have a female dress form/mannequin for sizing • Obtain approximate sample pricing and turnaround times • Determine their capacity for future small-batch production • Provide contact information for each qualified candidate • Identify potential local cord/material suppliers when possible Experience in fashion sourcing, apparel manufacturing, textiles, handicrafts, artisan networks or garment production is strongly preferred. Do you already have relationships with artisans, workshops or textile suppliers? Are you able to visit artisans/workshops in person if necessary? Please provide an example of a similar sourcing project you have completed. This will begin as a small paid sourcing project.
