Fashion Designer/ Product Developer

The Role We're looking for a freelance designer (fully remote) to help shape our debut and future collections designed for pets. You'll work closely with the founder on concept, sketch, and technical handover, translating a considered brand aesthetic into production. A Day in the Life - Working from seasonal concept, trend, and inspiration direction, sketch product in black-and-white, then colour, aligned to the brief and brand identity. - Propose fabrics, yarns, and trims with an understanding of hand, weight, and drape. Produce technical sketches detailing construction, trims, and finishing for handover to our manufacturer. - Collaborate on fit and prototype reviews, refining until design intent is met. - Adjust product based on feedback from the founder and production partners. Who You Are - 1 to 4 years of design experience in petwear/womenswear/kidswear, or an adjacent luxury category. Recent graduates in fashion design, textiles, or related fields with strong portfolios are also welcome. - Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; comfortable producing clean flats and tech packs. - Fluent in the current luxury and designer landscape - Strong eye for silhouette, proportion, and construction detail. Working knowledge of designer-grade fabrications (types of cashmere, wool, technical knits) and garment construction. - Meticulous attention to detail in both design and communication. Nice to Have - Experience working with European manufacturers. - You have, or are passionate about, pets.
