Federal, Business and Civil Law Litigation Paralegal Location: Remote Schedule: Full time | Must work U.S. Central Time (Texas) We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented independent contractor to support our attorneys with litigation docketing, drafting, and file management. Key Responsibilities - Drafting discovery requests and responses - Conducting legal research - Managing case files and document organization - Assisting with trial preparation - Managing calendaring of appointments and internal scheduling - Docketing court deadlines, including discovery cutoffs, response deadlines, and hearing dates, subject to attorney review and confirmation Qualifications - Prior paralegal experience supporting civil litigation - Experience with litigation calendaring and court-deadline docketing - Familiarity with calculating deadlines from applicable court rules - Strong legal research and writing skills - Highly organized with excellent attention to detail - Clear written and verbal English communication - Comfortable learning and working with AI tools; strong AI skills are a significant advantage To apply, please submit your resume along with a brief written introduction and a link to a short video introduction.
