Federal Contract Opportunity Researcher — Construction/Facility Maintenance (Oklahoma Region)

We're a commercial construction and remodeling company in the Oklahoma City metro, newly registered in SAM.gov with an active CAGE code. We self-perform concrete and dirt work, masonry, structural and industrial welding, awnings and canopies, and CIPP pipe lining (trenchless pipe rehab). We're looking for someone with hands-on experience finding and qualifying federal contracting opportunities to set up and run an ongoing opportunity-monitoring process for us. What you'd do: Monitor SAM.gov, agency forecast sites, and other sources (GSA, USACE, VA, DLA, base-level solicitations, etc.) for opportunities in Oklahoma and surrounding states that match our capabilities Filter by relevant NAICS/PSC codes, set-asides we qualify for, and realistic project size for a small business Send a regular digest (weekly or as posted) with a short summary of each opportunity: scope, location, due date, set-aside status, and why it fits or doesn't Flag pre-solicitation and sources-sought notices early so we have time to respond Help us refine our SAM.gov profile, NAICS codes, and keyword searches as we learn what's out there What we're looking for: Proven experience doing federal opportunity research/capture support for a contractor — ideally construction, facility maintenance, or trades-related Working knowledge of SAM.gov, NAICS/PSC codes, set-aside categories, and the federal solicitation lifecycle Able to explain things plainly — we're experienced contractors but new to the federal side To apply: Tell us briefly about a contractor you've done this for, what sources you monitor beyond SAM.gov, and how you'd structure a weekly digest.
