Field CTO / Solutions Architect, U.S.-Based, Cloud, AI, DevOps, Client-Facing

We are looking for a U.S.-based Field CTO / Solutions Architect to support our growing AI, cloud, DevOps, and enterprise software consulting business. This is a client-facing technical leadership role. We need someone who can join customer calls, help shape technical solutions, support proposals and SOWs, guide delivery teams, and represent the company with a strong executive-level technical presence. The role requires core availability Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM Pacific Time. Compensation is a $3,000/month base retainer for that core availability window. Additional approved work outside the core schedule may be paid at $30/hour or structured as separate project milestones. Responsibilities include: Join customer and partner calls as a senior technical representative Help translate business requirements into technical architecture Support technical discovery, proposals, SOWs, POCs, and implementation planning Review cloud, AI, DevOps, data, and application architecture decisions Coordinate with developers, engineers, and delivery resources Identify risks, blockers, dependencies, and security considerations Help prepare demos, technical roadmaps, and client-facing recommendations Support sales conversations with credible technical guidance Help us convert strategic opportunities into executable delivery plans Ideal experience: U.S.-based Strong client-facing communication skills Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or multi-cloud environments Experience with AI, LLMs, DevOps, data platforms, or enterprise applications Comfortable working with executives, engineers, and delivery teams Ability to write clear technical summaries, scopes, and recommendations Consulting, agency, MSP, startup, or enterprise services experience preferred This is intended to be a long-term role that can grow with the company. We are also open to bonus opportunities tied to collected revenue milestones, major client wins, and successful support of strategic deals.
