Figma Auto-Layout Specialist – Contract (Email Component Library)

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Figma systems expert to help us build a reusable email component library from an existing archive of designs. This is a contract project with potential for more work if the first batch goes well. What you’ll be doing: We have 50–100 emails spanning roughly a year of designs, all living in an existing Figma file. Your job is to: • Audit the full archive and identify repeating patterns across emails • Rebuild everything as fully broken-down, auto-layout components — buttons, text styles, icons, sections, the works • Deliver a clean, organized component library file that our team can pull from for future email builds No design work involved. The visual output should match what already exists — you’re just making it modular, reusable, and properly structured. What we’re looking for: • Expert-level Figma auto-layout skills — this is the core requirement • Experience building component libraries or design systems at a granular level • Able to navigate and make sense of a large, unorganized Figma file independently • Comfortable making organizational judgment calls — you’ll have full autonomy over naming conventions and library structure • Self-directed, but communicative — you’ll have a point of contact available for questions, but won’t be hand-held through the process Deliverables: A fully built, organized Figma component library ready for immediate team use.
