Figma Designer, High-Converting Pages for Home Services (Lead Gen)
Worldwide
We're a U.S. digital marketing agency. We design and build websites for home-services businesses (plumbing, HVAC, roofing, electrical) and other agency clients. For our clients, a website has one job: turn a visitor into a phone call or a booked job. We need a high-level Figma designer who can design full websites and the high-converting pages that actually generate leads. We're an agency ourselves, and we're hiring an individual freelancer to join our team, not another agency or a team reselling work. Solo operators only. This is a design-only role. You design in Figma, our team handles the build. Your job is to deliver premium, conversion-focused, developer-ready designs that generate leads for home-services clients. What You'll Do - Design full multi-page websites in Figma for home-services clients: home, service pages, location pages, about, contact, plus high-converting landing pages - Design for conversion: clear hierarchy, strong CTAs, trust-building, and layouts built to drive calls and form fills - Design desktop and mobile (mobile-first), responsive and developer-ready - Work from briefs, brand guidelines, and rough structure, and elevate them to a premium level - Build clean, organized Figma files (components, auto-layout) our developers can build from without guesswork - Collaborate fast with our team and adapt across multiple client brands Must-Have Skills - 3+ years designing websites and landing pages in Figma, with a strong portfolio - Proven home-services or local lead-gen design experience, pages built to convert visitors into leads, not just look nice - Agency experience, you've designed for multiple clients and can flex across brands - Real design taste: typography, spacing, hierarchy, and a premium, modern feel - Conversion-focused design instincts: you understand how layout drives calls and form fills - Clean, organized, developer-ready Figma (components, auto-layout, consistent naming) - Mobile-first, responsive design - Fast, reliable communication over Slack during U.S. Central business hours - Strong spoken and written English - Able to commit ~20 hours/week, ongoing, with reliable U.S. Central overlap Bonus Points - Experience with AI tools for design exploration and imagery - Understanding of how your design will be built (Webflow or WordPress) - Motion / micro-interaction specs This Role Is NOT a Fit If - Agencies or teams reselling work. We're an agency, we want an individual freelancer. You personally do the work, no subcontracting, no account managers, no handing it to a team. We work directly with you, every day, over Slack. - Your portfolio is mostly ecommerce or SaaS / dashboard / product UI, this is home-services lead-gen design, a different game - You design pretty pages that were never measured on whether they convert - You only customize templates instead of designing real, on-brand pages - You can't hand off clean, developer-ready Figma files - You have under 3 years, or can't show home-services or local lead-gen work Read This Before Applying (Non-Negotiables) - Conversion is the point. A beautiful page that doesn't drive calls or form fills is a failed deliverable. - Mobile is the baseline, not a bonus. Most home-services traffic is on a phone. - Clean handoff is on you. Our developers build exactly what you deliver, so files must be organized and build-ready. - This is a working relationship, not fire-and-forget. If you reply once every two days, we're not the right fit. To Apply, Read Carefully (We Filter Hard) - Start your proposal with this exact phrase: "Leads first." If it's missing, we skip you. It tells us you actually read this. - Send 3 to 5 links to landing pages or websites you designed, ideally home-services or local lead-gen, plus your portfolio. For each, one line on who it was for and how it was meant to convert. - In one sentence: the single most important thing that makes a home-services landing page convert. - Confirm you can commit ~20 hours/week with reliable U.S. Central overlap, and list your overlap hours. Details - Type: Ongoing, hourly, contract-to-hire for the right person - Hours: ~20/week minimum, reliable U.S. Central overlap, fast turnaround - Communication: Slack, fast and responsive during the day We select on portfolio quality and conversion results, not lowest bid. If you're a strong fit, we move fast: a short call, then a paid trial. Strong work on the first project leads straight into ongoing work.
