Figma eCommerce UX Designer (Shopify & WooCommerce)

The SEO UI/UX Designer is responsible for transforming SEO strategy into high-performing website templates that drive long-term organic growth. Working alongside the Lead SEO Account Manager, this role designs search-first page experiences that satisfy search intent, improve user engagement, and increase organic visibility without sacrificing conversion performance. Your work begins with keyword strategy, search intent, and user behavior. Every homepage, collection page, product page, blog template, and content hub you design should help clients rank for more valuable keywords while creating intuitive experiences that keep visitors engaged and moving through the buying journey. You will work closely with our Lead SEO Account Manager to understand page strategy and collaborate with our Shopify Front-End Developer to ensure every design is developer-friendly, scalable, and easy to implement. While your work should improve conversion rates through strong UX principles, your primary objective is helping clients acquire more qualified organic traffic through thoughtful page architecture and modern SEO design best practices. SEO-First Page Design - Design high-fidelity Figma templates for homepages, collection pages, product detail pages (PDPs), blog templates, landing pages, and supporting SEO content pages. - Create page layouts that align with keyword strategy, search intent, and user behavior. - Apply modern UX principles that improve readability, engagement, and content discoverability. - Ensure every design supports both organic rankings and business objectives. Template & Design System Development - Build reusable Figma components and scalable design systems that accelerate production across client websites. - Create standardized templates for SEO-driven page types while maintaining each client's unique brand identity. - Design responsive experiences that perform across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. - Maintain organized design libraries for efficient collaboration with developers. SEO Collaboration - Work directly with the Lead SEO Account Manager to translate keyword research, content strategy, and information architecture into effective page designs. - Design pages that naturally support internal linking, topical authority, and content hierarchy. Structure layouts that encourage deeper engagement and improve the overall user journey from organic search. - Incorporate trust signals, EEAT principles, and modern - eCommerce UX best practices into every design. Developer Collaboration - Prepare clean, developer-ready Figma files for implementation by the Shopify Front-End Developer. - Clearly communicate spacing, interactions, responsive behavior, and component functionality. - Review completed implementations to ensure they accurately reflect the approved designs. - Continuously improve templates based on SEO performance, UX insights, and user behavior. Success in This Role Success is measured by the quality and scalability of the design system—not simply visual aesthetics.
