Film Finance & Business Plan Consultant for Independent Feature Film We are seeking an experienced film finance consultant / entertainment business plan writer to develop a professional, investor-ready Business Plan and Film Finance Plan for an independent feature film currently in packaging. The project already has a professionally prepared production budget, so we are not looking for someone to create the film budget from scratch. We need someone who understands the business and financing side of independent film and can take the existing budget, project information, packaging, comparable films, and distribution strategy and turn them into a credible financing and investment plan. Scope of Work The selected freelancer will help create: * Professional Film Business Plan * Detailed Film Finance Plan / Capital Stack * Investor financing structure and proposed recoupment strategy * Revenue scenarios and financial projections * Comparable-film financial analysis * Distribution and monetization strategy * Domestic and international sales considerations * Production incentive / tax-credit strategy where applicable * Investor risk factors and mitigation strategy * Use of funds / financing requirements * Investor exit and recoupment explanation * Clear explanation of how the production budget connects to the financing strategy The final materials should be polished enough to present to private investors, executive producers, film financiers, lenders, family offices, sales agents, and potential strategic financing partners. Ideal Candidate We are specifically looking for someone with experience in independent film financing, preferably someone who has worked with films in the sub-$1M to several-million-dollar budget range. Experience with any of the following is highly preferred: * Independent feature-film financing * Film investor business plans * Film revenue modeling * Film sales and distribution * Tax incentives and production rebates * Pre-sales, minimum guarantees, gap financing, bridge lending, or equity financing * Investor waterfalls and recoupment structures * Entertainment finance or film investment analysis Please do not apply if your experience is primarily writing generic startup business plans.
