AI Filmmaker / Motion Comic Producer Needed for Feature-Length Project
Worldwide
Overview I am looking for an experienced AI filmmaker—not simply a prompt writer—to help produce a proof-of-concept scene for an ambitious feature-length motion comic. This is a serious documentary project based on many years of research and development. The screenplay and storyboard are already complete. The challenge is transforming approximately 1,300 storyboard panels into a compelling, cinematic film using AI-assisted production tools. The successful applicant may become the long-term production partner for the entire feature. What Already Exists • Complete screenplay • Approximately 1,300 storyboard images • Finished dialogue • Detailed shot planning • Extensive editorial development This is not a writing assignment and not a storyboarding assignment. Initial Assignment Create one polished proof-of-concept scene approximately 60–90 seconds in length. The objective is to determine the best production pipeline for the feature. I am not committed to any particular software. If you believe M Studio is best, explain why. If you believe another workflow is superior, explain why. The Goal I am not looking for flashy AI effects. I want to transform storyboard panels into something that feels cinematic through thoughtful use of: • camera movement • subtle animation • facial performance • lip sync • narration • sound design • music • editing • pacing • transitions The audience should become immersed in the story rather than feel they are watching a slide presentation. Important Project Information This film contains mature themes. Some fictional characters—including Satan—express racist, misogynistic, antisemitic, or blasphemous ideas. These statements are presented as part of dramatic storytelling and historical analysis. They are not endorsements by the filmmaker. Because of this, I am looking for someone who understands how to work professionally with mature narrative material and who can recommend a production workflow that is unlikely to be interrupted by automated content restrictions. If you have previously completed projects involving historical, political, religious, or controversial subject matter, please mention that experience. What I’m Looking For Experience in AI filmmaking, motion comics, documentary production, AI animation, cinematic editing, character animation, or visual storytelling. Please include links to work you personally created. Please Answer These Questions 1. Which AI tools would you recommend? 2. Why? 3. What production workflow would you use? 4. How many hours would a polished 60–90 second scene require? 5. What would you charge? 6. Would you be interested in continuing with the feature if the proof-of-concept is successful? Budget Please include your estimate for producing the proof-of-concept scene. Cover Letter I’ve spent years developing this project and am looking for a collaborator rather than simply someone to execute prompts. My priority is finding a thoughtful filmmaker who understands storytelling, editing, pacing, and audience engagement—not merely someone who knows how to generate AI images. If we work well together, this has the potential to become a long-term collaboration on a feature-length film.
