Final Cut Pro Video Editor (Long-Tem)

We're Pilot Institute, the eighth fastest-growing education company in the US according to the 2023 Inc. 5000. We create industry-leading drone and airplane courses that have helped over 400,000 pilots achieve their aviation dreams. We're looking for a Final Cut Pro editor to edit our course content. This role requires downloading large 4K video files and a multicam editing workflow within Final Cut Pro 12. This will be a long-term working relationship if you're a good fit. Responsibilities include: - Creating video edits. - Referencing visual guides and scripts to edit content. - Adding callouts (text boxes) using provided templates. - Adding animations or B-Roll from supplied assets. - Working closely with the training team. Requirements: - Final Cut Pro 12 - Fast and stable internet connection. - Compatible Mac computer that can handle multiple angles of 4K footage. - Plenty of storage to download and work on multiple projects. - Available at least 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with the ability to respond within 24 hours. - Ability to attend occasional virtual meetings (usually less than 4 a month). - Proficiency with Final Cut Pro. - Experience with Asana, Slack, Google Meet, and Loom or a willingness to learn on your own time.
