Finance & Operations Administrator (Full-Time) About Mucho Dinero Mucho Dinero is a fast-growing remote company looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance & Operations Administrator to take ownership of our day-to-day financial administration and reporting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating structure, maintaining accurate financial records, and improving processes. You'll work closely with management to ensure our financial information is accurate, well-organized, and ready for our external accountant, while also helping build scalable reporting systems that support the company's growth. We're looking for someone who is proactive, analytical, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Administration Maintain and update company income tracking and financial records. Record, categorize, and reconcile business expenses. Reconcile bank transactions and payment records. Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on payments. Ensure financial records remain accurate and up to date. Receipt & Documentation Management Collect, organize, and archive receipts, invoices, and supporting documentation. Ensure all financial records are complete and accountant-ready. Prepare and submit monthly financial documentation to the external accountant. Maintain a well-organized digital filing system. Payment Management Prepare supplier and vendor payments for management approval. Monitor recurring subscriptions and operational expenses. Track payment due dates to ensure timely processing. Assist with cash flow planning and payment scheduling. Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) reports. Maintain cash flow reports and financial dashboards. Build and improve financial tracking systems using Excel or Google Sheets. Prepare weekly and monthly management reports. Analyze financial performance and identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Process Improvement Improve financial workflows and reporting processes. Develop scalable systems that support company growth. Assist management with budgeting and financial planning. Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Requirements Minimum 2 years' experience in bookkeeping, finance administration, accounting support, or a similar role. Strong bookkeeping and financial administration skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and financial reporting. Experience preparing Profit & Loss statements and cash flow reports. Strong understanding of financial reconciliation and expense management. Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent written and spoken English. Reliable internet connection and suitable home office setup. Nice to Have Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar. Experience building financial dashboards and automated reporting systems. Experience supporting remote or international businesses. Knowledge of budgeting and financial forecasting.
