Financial Operations Coordinator
Worldwide
We're a growing automotive repair business in the US doing $1M+ annually. We need someone who can dig into our numbers, build reports that actually tell us something useful, and help us make smarter financial decisions. This is a contract-to-hire role, as we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us long-term as we scale operations. If you don't have direct experience with 100% of these tasks, that's okay. They are easily taught. We are looking for people who have general experience in business/operations analysis who can write in English reasonably well. There is potential for growth as it relates to the pay rate/hours worked as well as the type of tasks with the right candidate; the goal is to find someone that we can work with long-term on optimizing our expansion into more locations. See below for more details on the job responsibilities- Matching & Verification: 1. Match vendor invoices against service orders and receipts, line by line, and flag anything that doesn't add up 2. Verify that what we got billed for matches what was actually ordered and approved 3. Catch the small stuff that adds up fast: a part that got double-charged, a supplier price that crept up since the last order, a discount applied that shouldn't have been 4. Spot when waived fees or off-book discounts are quietly eating into a ticket Keeping the records clean: 1. Enter receipts and invoices into our system accurately 2. Organize digital files so invoices, receipts, and service orders land where they belong instead of in five different folders 3. Follow up with the team when documentation goes missing Light reporting & vendor follow-up: 1. Track which parts we order most and basic inventory patterns 2. Build simple Google Sheets summaries showing what we're spending and where (nothing too fancy) 3. Email vendors for missing invoices or price confirmations As you get comfortable with our numbers, there's a path into deeper analysis (margins by service, pricing, profitability across locations, etc.) along with more hours and a higher rate. That's the long game with the right person, not a day-one requirement. If you've got it in you, we'll make room for it. You must have a laptop or desktop computer and a reliable internet connection. This cannot be done on a mobile device. If you're someone who actually enjoys finding mistakes, we want to hear from you! We're looking for someone who can spot patterns, flag issues before they become expensive problems, and help us tighten up our operations. If you have strong attention to detail (like, actually strong and not just saying it), can document problems clearly, and can commit to consistent hours, then we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all of the qualifications listed above. To apply: put "Financial Rockstar" on the subject title and tell us about a time you found an error someone else missed. Please don't simply attach a resume and cover letter. We look forward to hearing from you!
