Fnirs - ML - Timeseries Project

Summary We are seeking a freelancer with expertise in fNIRS data analysis, time-series analytics, signal processing, and machine learning to assist with a neuroscience research project. The project involves analyzing functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS) recordings collected during social interactions. The goal is to identify patterns of neural synchrony, temporal dynamics, and brain-behavior relationships using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques. Responsibilities Preprocess and clean fNIRS data Perform signal quality assessment and artifact detection Analyze hemodynamic responses and temporal patterns Conduct time-series analyses including: Cross-correlation Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) Lag analysis Synchronization measures Temporal feature extraction Develop machine learning models for classification or prediction tasks Create visualizations and summary statistics Document methods and code for reproducibility Required Skills Python Time-series analysis Signal processing Statistical modeling Machine learning NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-Learn Data visualization When applying, please describe your experience with physiological signal analysis, neuroimaging data, or time-series machine learning projects and provide examples of relevant work.
