Food + Lifestyle Commentary Writer — Become a Featured Author on a Popular Blog (~10 hrs/wk)

Summary

About the role We run a popular food and lifestyle blog with mom-blog energy: recipes, home organization, style, and more. It gets a ton of traffic, especially from Pinterest. We already have the content and the audience. What we're missing is personality, and that's the job. To be clear up front, this is not a recipe-developer, photography, or video job. You won't create recipes, shoot photos, or film anything. And you don't even have to write. We've built an in-house tool where you hit a button and start talking. We handle the transcription, cleanup, and editing, then turn it into a polished article published under your name. No typing, no punctuation, no writer's block. If you can talk about food you love, you can do this job, and it's a lot faster than writing. Here's how it works. We hand you an existing roundup, say "20 Low-Carb Dinner Ideas," and you go down the list talking through each one: what you'd make first, what's easiest, a quick tip, what you love about it. Our editorial team polishes it, and you become the featured author on the post. What you'll do Record your take on existing roundups. Most are around 20 items. You give your take on each one, warm and casual, no script. Just hit record and talk. Figure about 30 to 40 minutes per article. Pick up other lifestyle posts too. We also publish home organization, style, and other mom-blog topics, so there's plenty in the mix if your interests are well-rounded. Become the featured author on the posts you work on. The commitment We need someone who can consistently turn around at least 10 articles per week. That's the baseline. When you do them is up to you: batch them all at once, spread them across the week, mornings or nights, whatever fits your life. We don't micromanage. But we do need someone dependable who hits that number every week and manages their own schedule without reminders. Who we're looking for The gift of gab. This is the big one. Hand you a list of 20 dishes and you can riff on each one, make it fun, and keep it warm without a script. A genuine love of food and feeding people. You don't have to be a chef, but knowing your way around a kitchen helps. Well-rounded interests, since you may touch home, style, and lifestyle posts too. Self-directed and reliable. You can hit 10+ articles a week on your own steam. Bonus, not required: a growing social presence. If you're building an Instagram or TikTok, we'd love to cross-promote. Your name goes on the content with a link to your socials on our contributor page. What's in it for you The easiest content gig you'll find. No writing required. Hit a button, talk about food you love, and we do the rest. $10 per article. A real platform. We drive serious traffic, so being featured puts your name in front of a large, engaged audience. A byline and cross-promotion to help grow your own following. Ongoing, long-term, friendly team. Details $10 per article Minimum 10 articles per week Fully remote, flexible hours, ongoing To apply Tell us in a few sentences why you'd be a good fit, and if you make any content, food or lifestyle, drop a link. Just starting out is fine too. Then pick a recipe roundup topic you'd enjoy, or any single recipe, and record a quick 30 to 60 second voice memo riffing on it: what you'd make, what's easy, what you love. That's basically the job, so it tells us everything.
