Food Process Engineer for Bone Broth Facility

Seeking an experienced Food Process Engineer / Food Factory Design Consultant to support the design and integration of a purpose-built industrial bone broth production facility. The production line will be supplied by a Chinese manufacturer and is expected to include: - steam-heated pressure cooker - broth pumps and filtration - mixing and cooling tank - CIP cleaning system - steam generator or boiler - filling equipment - retort steriliser The consultant will review the supplier’s technical proposal and translate it into a complete, practical factory design brief suitable for coordination with the equipment manufacturer and a UAE-based MEP and authority-approval consultant. Scope of Work The assignment is expected to cover: - process flow and hygienic zoning - equipment layout and maintenance clearances - electrical load schedule - gas and steam requirements - water treatment, process water and cooling-water requirements - drainage, condensate recovery and wastewater considerations - sanitary piping and P&ID review - ventilation - fire safety and pressure-equipment considerations - HACCP-compliant raw-to-finished-product flow - storage, staffing and material movement - future production expansion - vendor clarification questions before equipment purchase - installation, commissioning and validation requirements Preferred Experience Strong preference will be given to candidates with direct experience in one or more of the following: - industrial liquid-food processing - soups, sauces, broths, dairy or beverage production - retort sterilisation - steam systems and pressure vessels - CIP systems - hygienic stainless-steel piping - food factory utility planning - HACCP-compliant facility design The ideal candidate will have genuine industrial food-processing or food-factory engineering experience and be capable of identifying technical gaps, challenging supplier assumptions and coordinating effectively across process, MEP, food-safety and equipment requirements.
