Food Research Chef / Menu Developer

We are are a Mediterranean restaurant and are seeking a creative and skilled freelancer to develop new recipes and menu items for our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a keen eye for detail. We are looking to build on our existing menu. The new menu items should be distinct and packed with flavor. Constraints: Ingredients sourceable at scale through a national broadline distributors Executable by entry-level line cooks under fast-casual ticket times Each item meaningfully distinct from the others and from what we already sell but similar in type of product (platter) Deliverables: 6 finished platter concepts, named, with a short description of each 4 additional smashburgers menu items A costed recipe sheet and spec sheet per item (portions, build sequence, plating, hold times) A shared-ingredient map showing which components are reused across the lineup A brief rationale on how the set adds variety without bloating prep Nice to have: QSR / fast-casual R&D experience; menu engineering sense (price tiering, margin mix); willingness to do an on-site or remote execution test plus staff training.
