Food Technologist

Project Overview We are a nutrition-focused startup developing a range of healthy, ready-to-eat food products. We are looking for an experienced Food Technologist to support us in validating our existing formulations and assisting with product development. Scope of Work We currently have five products in development: 🥣 3 nutritious meal bowls 🥜 2 healthy spreads We already have recipes and initial formulations prepared. Your role will be to: Review and validate the existing recipes and formulations. Verify ingredient compatibility, nutritional balance, and processing feasibility. Recommend improvements to enhance taste, texture, shelf life, and product stability where required. Assist in refining the formulations for commercial-scale production. Advise on suitable processing methods and manufacturing considerations. Help ensure the products meet relevant food safety and quality standards. Support us during the product development process until the formulations are ready for pilot/commercial manufacturing. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone with experience in: Food Science / Food Technology Functional foods or nutrition products Ready-to-eat foods, spreads, or similar food categories Product formulation and commercialization Shelf-life and stability considerations Working with startups is a plus If you have experience bringing nutrition products from concept to commercialization, we'd love to hear from you.
