Former Sell-Side Equity Research Analyst Needed to Refine Existing Stock Pitch

I have an existing stock pitch, presentation deck, supporting research, and Q&A materials prepared and am looking for an experienced equity research professional to help substantially improve and refine it. The pitch is in the power, utilities, clean energy, or midstream sector. The company has already been selected, and I am not looking for someone to create a pitch from scratch. I am looking for someone who can actively work with me to revise the pitch, edit the deck, strengthen the investment thesis, and help transform it into a more differentiated and compelling investment recommendation. The current feedback I have received is that the pitch is too similar to a standard stock overview and needs to be more differentiated, conviction-driven, and focused on where the investment view differs from consensus expectations. Specifically, I need help: • Editing and restructuring the presentation deck • Identifying where the thesis is already reflected in consensus expectations • Developing a stronger variant perception framework • Defining what the market may be missing • Creating a more differentiated and controversial investment argument • Strengthening conviction and investment insight • Sharpening catalysts and timing • Improving Q&A responses and handling pushback • Stress-testing assumptions and challenging the thesis • Making the presentation more persuasive and investment-oriented Preferred Background: • Former sell-side equity research analyst or associate • Buy-side analyst, portfolio manager, or hedge fund experience is a plus • Utilities, power, energy, clean energy, infrastructure, or industrials experience preferred • Experience evaluating stock pitches and investment theses Deliverables: • Review existing materials • Edit and improve the pitch deck • Help rewrite portions of the thesis and presentation where necessary • Participate in working sessions and mock Q&A discussions • Help refine the overall investment narrative and positioning Please describe your research background, sector coverage experience, and any experience helping candidates, analysts, or investors improve stock pitches and investment presentations.
