Foundational Workplace Skills Assessment SME (US-based)

We are looking for an assessment development professional to create a blueprint and assessment structure for a new Foundational Workplace Skills Assessment. The assessment is intended to evaluate core entry-level skills, including areas such as basic mathematics, reading comprehension, and other fundamental workplace competencies. Project Overview You will receive temporary access to our assessment platform and existing question bank. Using the available content, you will identify appropriate questions and develop an assessment blueprint outlining the skills and competencies covered by the assessment. Responsibilities • Use our existing content library to identify and select appropriate assessment questions. • Identify and select questions that best measure foundational workplace skills. • Create a balanced and well-structured assessment based on the selected content (~40 questions). • Develop an assessment blueprint describing: o the skills and competencies being measured, o the rationale for including each content area, o the weighting and coverage of topics, o how the selected questions support the assessment objectives. Requirements • Experience developing assessments, tests, certification exams, or educational evaluations. • Strong understanding of foundational workplace skills and entry-level competency measurement. • Ability to organize assessment content into a coherent blueprint (you will receive a template to fill in). • Excellent written communication skills. Deliverables • Completed assessment blueprint. • Test created on our platform. Timeline The project must be completed within one week of contract signing. We are looking for someone who can start promptly and work within a tight timeframe.
