Fractional CFO & Business Plan Consultant

Job Description: I am looking for an experienced Fractional CFO or senior finance professional who can assist with business planning, financial strategy, management reporting and CFO-level advisory work. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in helping founders, startups or growing businesses with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, investor readiness and strategic decision-making. Prior experience with PwC, KPMG, another Big 4 firm, a finance advisory firm or a senior finance leadership role will be highly preferred. Scope of Work: ● Prepare professional business plans for startups and growing companies ● Build financial forecasts, budgets and cash flow projections ● Review business performance and provide CFO-level insights ● Prepare management reports and board-level financial summaries ● Assist with investor readiness and fundraising documentation ● Support founders with financial strategy and decision-making ● Help structure financial information in a clear, accurate and professional format Required Experience: ● Experience as a Fractional CFO, Finance Director, Financial Controller or senior finance consultant ● Strong understanding of financial planning, reporting and business strategy ● Ability to prepare business plans, financial projections and management reports ● Strong Excel, financial modelling and presentation skills ● Big 4, corporate finance or advisory experience will be preferred Ideal Candidate: I am looking for someone who can work as a reliable finance partner, not just as a task-based freelancer. The person should be able to understand business context, identify key financial matters and provide practical advice that supports growth, funding and better decision-making.
