Fractional CFO — Multi-Brand Ecommerce
Worldwide
About us We're a growing portfolio of ecommerce brands. We're moving fast and the top line is healthy, but we've reached the point where we need someone to help us truly understand our numbers — not just record them. We want a financial partner who can turn our data into clear decisions. What we need help with We're looking for a fractional CFO to give us clarity and confidence in our finances. Specifically: P&Ls that we actually understand — accurate, brand-by-brand profit and loss statements so we can see which brands and products are making money and which aren't. Marketing efficiency — help us read ROAS, blended CAC, contribution margin, and payback so we know what our ad spend is really returning. Cash flow — build a clear picture of cash in and out, including inventory purchasing, so we can plan ahead and never get caught short. Reporting we can run the business on — a simple, reliable dashboard or set of reports we review regularly, plus a rhythm for reviewing them with you. Guidance — a steady financial advisor we can bring key decisions to (pricing, spend, inventory bets, when to invest vs. hold). You're a great fit if you Have been a CFO, finance lead, or fractional CFO for ecommerce/DTC brands Know ecommerce economics cold — unit economics, contribution margin, ROAS/CAC, inventory and cash flow Are comfortable working hands-on with early-stage businesses and building things from a somewhat blank slate Are fluent with the ecom stack (e.g., Shopify, QuickBooks/Xero, ad platforms, and analytics/reporting tools) Can explain financials clearly to non-finance founders and translate numbers into action Are reliable, proactive, and low-ego Nice to have Experience across a portfolio of multiple brands Experience with inventory financing, forecasting, and scenario planning A track record helping brands grow profitably past their first big revenue milestones Engagement We're flexible on structure. This could start as a defined project (getting our P&Ls, ROAS view, and cash flow model built and trustworthy) and grow into an ongoing few-hours-a-week or day-a-week relationship — whatever makes sense. Tell us what you'd recommend. How to apply Please share: A short intro and your relevant ecommerce finance experience 1–2 examples of brands or founders you've helped get a clearer handle on their numbers Your typical engagement structure and rates Your availability We read every application and will reply to those that are a strong fit. We're excited to find the right partner.
