Fractional COO / Project Manager

DESCRIPTION We're seeking a strategic, heart-led Fractional COO / Project Manager to help run a founder-led, mission-driven business in the online education and personal growth space. This is a remote, part-time, long-term role with room to grow. You'll be the founder's operational backbone: turning visionary ideas into structured, realistic plans, managing a small remote team, running the systems and tools, coordinating launches and the email/promo calendar, and bringing AI into how the business operates. The founder is actively investing in AI adoption and wants an ops partner who can lead that. YOU'RE A FIT IF YOU - Have 5+ years in operations and/or project management for online education or coaching businesses - Are fluent with AI tools and eager to put them to work in operations: using AI to draft, summarize, organize, and automate, and spotting where AI genuinely fits the business - Are strong at managing and unblocking a small remote team of contractors - Know how to translate a visionary founder's ideas into concrete timelines and deliverables - Can coordinate program launches and email/promo execution (6- or 7-figure launches a plus) - Are comfortable owning tools, automations, and light tech troubleshooting (course and email platforms, forms, webinar/Zoom setups) - Can build and maintain simple KPI dashboards and performance tracking - Document and improve SOPs and systems - Are an exceptional communicator and team leader: self-directed, strategic, collaborative, and grounded - Thrive in soulful, mission-driven environments - Are discreet with confidential information - Are fluent in English KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Translate the founder's business and creative ideas into structured, realistic project plans and timelines - Manage a small remote team of contractors, holding deadlines and unblocking work - Identify, test, and implement AI tools and automations that save the team time and sharpen output, and build AI into day-to-day workflows - Coordinate launch planning and execution, plus the email and promo calendar - Own tools and automations (course platform, email, forms, scheduling) and troubleshoot when things break - Build simple KPI dashboards and track team and project performance - Improve SOPs, systems, and overall team operations - Coordinate light finance and admin (invoicing, subscriptions, vendor and billing follow-up) - Support hiring and onboarding of contractors as needed - Report status clearly to the founder and keep everything and everyone moving forward in flow BONUS IF YOU - Have experience in women's empowerment, embodiment, or spiritual growth spaces - Know Notion, ClickUp, Airtable, Slack, ActiveCampaign, or Kajabi - Have put AI and automation tools to real use (ChatGPT, Claude, Zapier) - Are ready to start soon NON-NEGOTIABLES - Reliable availability during US Pacific (PST/PDT) business hours.
