Fractional CTO / Solution Architect Needed for Logistics SaaS Platform (Auto Transport Marketplace)

We are building a modern auto transport brokerage platform and need a senior Solution Architect / Fractional CTO to design the full system architecture before development begins. This is not a simple app build. We are creating a multi-sided logistics SaaS platform that includes customers, carriers, dispatch operations, SMS-based tracking, payments, and CRM automation. We are looking for someone who can take a 0 → 1 product idea and turn it into a complete technical architecture and development roadmap that a team of developers can execute. --- Responsibilities: You will design the full system architecture, including: Customer booking and quoting system Carrier management system Dispatch and operations dashboard Shipment tracking system (SMS-based, web tracking, no app required) HubSpot CRM integration Stripe payment and deposit workflows Carrier assignment logic (manual and automated future phase) Database schema and data architecture API structure and system design User roles and permissions (customer, carrier, dispatcher, admin) Notification system (SMS, email, status updates) Scalability planning from MVP to enterprise Optional future AI pricing and carrier matching architecture --- Key Integrations: HubSpot CRM Stripe Twilio SMS Super Dispatch/Central Dispatch --- Deliverables: You will provide a complete architecture blueprint including: Full system architecture diagram Database schema (ERD) API structure and integration plan Recommended tech stack (frontend, backend, hosting) SMS-based driver tracking system design Customer tracking portal flow Carrier workflow design Admin and dispatch dashboard design Security and compliance considerations MVP development roadmap (step-by-step build plan) Scaling roadmap (MVP to V2 to enterprise) --- Ideal Candidate: We are looking for someone with: Experience as a Fractional CTO, Solution Architect, or Staff Engineer Experience building SaaS or marketplace platforms Strong understanding of multi-sided systems (customers and vendors) Experience with API-driven architecture and system design Experience with payments, CRM, and third-party integrations Bonus if you have experience in: Logistics or transportation platforms Dispatch systems High-volume SMS systems Marketplace or gig-economy platforms --- Important Context: We are intentionally starting with architecture first before development. The goal is to design a system that can scale from a small brokerage operation into a fully automated logistics platform.
