Summary

Fractional COO / Chief of Staff Support We help founders and growing businesses move from vision, ideas, and decision-making into execution, structure, and operating rhythm. Many founders know what they want to build, but the challenge is turning that vision into a business that runs well day to day. Our fractional COO support helps create the structure behind the business so that people, systems, vendors, priorities, timelines, and deliverables are properly managed. This work is especially valuable for businesses that are growing quickly, launching something new, restructuring operations, or moving from concept into active delivery. The COO function owns the operating machine of the business. That means helping make sure the right people, systems, processes, timelines, and accountability structures are in place so the business can actually run. This can include: - Turning founder ideas into clear plans - Creating operating systems and workflows - Coordinating vendors, people, contractors, and advisors - Tracking priorities, deadlines, budgets, and risks - Making sure decisions are made and followed through - Building launch plans and post-launch operating routines - Creating accountability across the business - Documenting processes so the business is less dependent on the founder - Helping teams stay focused on what needs to happen next The goal is not just to organize tasks. The goal is to help the business operate with more clarity, structure, and momentum. Our role is to help translate strategy into action. Depending on the client, this may include: - Building a launch roadmap or operating plan - Creating a project management structure - Setting up internal workflows and recurring meetings - Coordinating vendors, consultants, and service providers - Helping define roles, responsibilities, and ownership - Tracking open items and unresolved decisions - Preparing action lists and follow-up notes - Flagging risks, delays, and gaps before they become bigger problems - Supporting systems implementation - Helping prepare the business for launch, growth, or smoother day-to-day operations This gives the founder more visibility, more control, and more confidence that the business is moving forward without everything sitting in their head. Initial Client Example One of our current client projects is a pre-opening wellness yoga and pilates studio. For this client, the support focuses on moving the business from concept and planning to a fully operational studio. That includes: - Building the pre-opening roadmap - Coordinating construction, vendors, systems, staffing, scheduling, and launch priorities - Creating opening checklists and operating workflows - Making sure the founder knows what decisions are needed and when - Keeping each workstream moving - Flagging gaps before they become problems - Helping the business move from idea to live operation For this particular project, experience in wellness, fitness, yoga, hospitality, studio operations, or pre-opening environments would be especially valuable. The Type of Support We Are Looking For - We are looking for someone who can support this fractional COO function in a practical, hands-on way. This is not just administrative support. It is someone who can bring order to complexity, keep multiple workstreams moving, communicate clearly, follow up intelligently, and help make sure execution is happening. The ideal person is organized, proactive, commercially aware, discreet, and comfortable working with founder-led businesses where things are moving quickly and not everything is fully built yet.
