Summary

Summary The Content Manager owns the quality and output of Axion content across blog and SEO, sales, social, newsletters, and PR. The job is built on an 80/20 split: 80 percent reviewing and editing AI-drafted content so it reads as human, accurate, and on-brand, and about 20 percent writing original thought-leadership from scratch. Axion content must not read as AI-generated. That means no vertical-swappable templates, no double-listed features, no mechanical parallel structure, and thought leadership over feature lists. Review and edit AI content (about 80 percent of the role) • Take AI-drafted pieces and rewrite them into the Axion voice: modern technology, classic service. • Remove the tells of AI writing: generic phrasing, repetitive structure, padded intros, and listy filler. • Fact-check every claim, number, and product detail against source material. Never ship an unverified figure or feature. • Add real specifics: actual customer situations, vet and dental details, and concrete outcomes. • Optimize content for SEO and AI answer engines using the keyword plan. Coordinate on-site and backlink needs. • Keep product naming correct throughout. Write original content (about 20 percent of the role) • Write and review content calendars for social, SEO (blog and Pillar pages), event handouts, etc. • Write thought-leadership and point-of-view pieces that AI cannot produce well: original arguments, opinion, and first-hand vet and dental insight. • Write the pieces that carry the brand: anchor blog articles, vertical case studies, and sales narratives. Content types owned • SEO content. • Sales content: one-pagers, battle cards, and email copy. • Website copy. • Social content. • Customer, prospect, and partner newsletters. • PR and bylined pieces when needed. • Anything client, partner or prospect facing. Calendar and workflow • Maintain the content calendar in ClickUp: a two-month buffer at launch, then an ongoing cadence. Pace • 10 blogs per month. • 40 social posts per month. • Newsletters, sales collateral, and event handouts as needed. Required skills • Native English speaker (English as a first language), with strong familiarity with U.S. culture and business norms. • B2B or B2B SaaS experience, with hands-on SEO and content editing (GEO helpful). • A sharp editor and strong writer who spots and fixes AI-sounding copy fast and moves readers to action. Success measures, first year • Content that reads as human and passes a no-AI-tells review. • The content engine is producing on the calendar with the two-month buffer maintained. • SEO/GEO rankings and contributing to the increased organic lead volume. • Zero unverified figures or features published.
