Fractional Financial & Pricing Analyst - Dashboards, Forecasting & Reporting

We're a growing architecture firm looking for an experienced fractional financial and pricing analyst to help strengthen our pricing, reporting, forecasting, and management dashboards. You'll work directly with leadership and have meaningful influence on how we evaluate pricing, profitability, and business performance. We're looking for someone who can both build the underlying analysis and translate it into clear, practical recommendations. What you'll do - Build and maintain our pricing model and run margin and variance analysis to guide pricing decisions - Create and maintain dashboards in Sigma or Tableau covering revenue, margin, and operational KPIs - Write SQL queries to pull, clean, and organize data for analysis and reporting - Automate recurring reports and workflows in Excel and Google Sheets - Support monthly reporting, forecasting, and budget-vs-actual reviews - Review customer and vendor contracts for pricing terms and profitability impact - Partner directly with leadership and operations on ad hoc analysis and process improvements You're a fit if you have: - 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, pricing strategy, or business operations - Working SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, and data cleanup — no data science required Hands-on dashboarding experience in Tableau or Sigma - Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, including formulas, pivots, and automation - Experience supporting startups, small businesses, or growing organizations - The ability to work independently across functions and turn ambiguous questions into useful analysis Strong attention to detail and clear written communication Experience working with architecture, engineering, professional-services, or project-based businesses is a plus, but not required.
