Fractional Payroll & HR Specialist

We are a growing family law firm seeking an experienced, hands\-on Payroll & HR Specialist to provide ongoing fractional support\. Payroll will be the core focus, including: - Processing accurate, timely payroll through Gusto - Managing multi\-state payroll registrations and compliance - Handling payroll tax notices and resolving discrepancies - Supporting employee onboarding and offboarding - Administering benefits and maintaining employee records - Providing practical HR policy and compliance guidance - Assisting with employee relations and periodic compliance audits **Ideal qualifications:** - Strong Gusto and U.S payroll experience - Experience managing payroll across multiple states - Working knowledge of HR compliance and employment practices - Highly responsive, organized, accurate, and discreet - Law firm or professional services experience is a strong plus - Experience recruiting attorneys, particularly family law attorneys, is an additional bonus Please include your relevant experience, availability, hourly rate, and any experience supporting law firms.
