We are a fast-growing, investor-led vacation rental property management firm overseeing an in-house portfolio of 5 active direct-booking and hospitality website domains. We have completely transitioned away from our previous agency layout, brought our tracking completely in-house under an owned corporate setup via a premium SEO tracking platform, and moved our web developer to a dedicated, flat-rate execution retainer. We are NOT looking for a content writer, link-builder, or entry-level execution agency. We are looking for a highly analytical, senior-level Fractional SEO Specialist / Technical Director to act as the strategic brain of our operation for exactly 3 to 5 hours per month. Your sole responsibility is to evaluate portfolio health data, track visibility trends, and translate technical platform flags into simplified, plain-English deployment tickets for our full-stack developer to execute. Key Responsibilities (What you will actually be doing): Monthly Dashboard Technical Audit: Log into our corporate platform once a month to pull cloud technical website audits across our 5 core domains. Identify and prioritize critical crawl errors, mobile rendering issues, broken redirect loops, canonical anomalies, and indexation gaps. Developer Task Translation: Instead of sending raw software logs, you will translate technical platform flags into clear, jargon-free task tickets inside our shared team master tracker. (Example: translating a “Canonical loop error on page ID 405” flag into a literal, plain-English instruction: “Developer: Open the dashboard for property X, go to the plugin interface, and update the Canonical URL field to read [Scrubbed URL].”) Monthly Alignment Video Sync: Participate in a single 45-to-60-minute video sync per month with our internal management leads to go over overall portfolio traffic velocity, target search queries, direct booking conversions, and tool data integrity. Quarterly Intent Verification: Periodically audit our local target keyword maps to ensure they align with high-intent leisure travelers, luxury groups, and corporate vacation rental booking behaviors in our active regional markets. Required Qualifications: Proven experience building and scaling organic visibility specifically for short-term rental portfolios, boutique hospitality, real estate investment, or destination vacation markets. High proficiency navigating professional premium SEO tracking platforms and configuring automated milestone reporting templates. Deep knowledge of local schema markup configurations (such as Lodging, LocalBusiness, and FAQ structure), next-generation image performance parameters, and WordPress CMS architectures. Exceptional ability to write clear, bulleted instructions for developers that cut through confusing marketing software jargon. Project Details & Bandwidth: Type: Ongoing / Rolling Retainer Contract Time Commitment: 3 to 5 hours maximum per month (Milestone and deliverable-focused).
