FreeCAD Specialist — Parametric CAD Design (Ongoing / Full-Time)

We are looking for a FreeCAD specialist to work long term on turning plans into full parametric CAD drawings within FreeCAD. This is hands-on production engineering, not concept design. This role is FreeCAD-native. This is not a Fusion 360 / SolidWorks / Onshape job, and we're not looking to switch tools. Please only apply if you're genuinely strong in FreeCAD. What you'll do Build fully parametric, spreadsheet-driven models (parametric tables). Maintain a robust master-model library - properly constrained sketches, sensible aliases, and models that don't break when parameters change (managing FreeCAD's topological naming behaviour where it matters). Must-haves Demonstrable, in-depth FreeCAD experience — please include examples or a portfolio. Strong parametric-modelling discipline: spreadsheet-driven design, aliased parameters, robust constraints, and a real handle on keeping parametric families stable. Reliable, communicative, able to work independently and document what you build. Strong pluses (not must haves): Post-processor development / customisation experience. CAM optimisation: adaptive / trochoidal toolpaths, and nesting for sheet materials. Produce CAM in FreeCAD's Path / CAM workbench — operations, toolpaths, and clean, production-ready G-code.
