Freelance Apparel Technical Designer

Freelance Apparel Technical Designer We are looking for an experienced freelance apparel technical designer to help turn my clothing concepts into professional, production-ready tech packs for manufacturers. Responsibilities * Transform sketches and design ideas into clean apparel mockups. * Create detailed tech packs ready for sampling and production. * Develop garment measurements and sizing specifications. * Specify fabrics, trims, hardware, stitching, and construction details. * Create front, back, and detail technical flats. * Revise designs based on feedback. Requirements * Experience creating apparel tech packs. * Strong understanding of garment construction. * Experience with premium streetwear or luxury fashion. * Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or similar software. * Excellent attention to detail and communication. Preferred Experience * Heavyweight hoodies, T-shirts, denim, and outerwear. * Washed garment treatments. * Embroidery, puff print, screen printing, appliqué, and layered garments. * Experience working directly with clothing manufacturers. Deliverables For each design, I expect: * Production-ready tech pack. * Front and back technical flats. * Measurement specification sheet. * Construction details. * Fabric and trim recommendations. * Print and embroidery placement guides. * Manufacturer-ready files for sampling and production.
