Freelance Australian Accountant Needed

We're looking for an experienced Australian-based accountant to take over the quarterly accounting and compliance for our growing business. This is an ongoing relationship, not a once-off project. We want someone proactive who makes sure everything is done correctly and keeps us compliant. About the Business Australian Pty Ltd Family Trust Xero accounting software Shopify eCommerce business Marketing agency income Multiple revenue streams GST registered What We Need Prepare and lodge quarterly BAS/IAS Review our Xero file to ensure everything has been coded correctly Identify and fix any bookkeeping issues Reconcile accounts where required Ensure GST has been treated correctly Advise on any compliance issues before they become problems Provide general accounting advice throughout the year when required Work with us at EOFY to make tax time straightforward We're looking for someone who thinks beyond simply lodging a BAS. We want confidence that our books are accurate and our business is structured correctly. Requirements Must be based in Australia Registered Tax Agent or Chartered Accountant (CA/CPA) Extensive experience with Xero Strong understanding of Australian GST and small business tax Experience with eCommerce businesses (Shopify preferred) Excellent communication Proactive and detail-oriented Budget is a placeholder, send your pricing over.
