I am seeking a talented and experienced freelancer to assist me in creating a high-quality book that includes a significant number of illustrations or images. The goal is to produce a polished, professional-grade book that is ready for printing and publication. While I already have access to tools like Canva and AI-powered design software, I need a collaborator who can ensure top-notch quality in both the writing and design. This includes creating a cohesive narrative, ensuring the illustrations are visually appealing, and formatting the book for excellent print quality. Responsibilities Collaborate with me to write engaging and creative content for the book. Work with illustrations, images, and layouts to ensure they are optimized for professional printing standards. Utilize Canva or other tools (including AI if needed) to enhance designs and illustrations. Format the final manuscript for print, including proper page layouts, fonts, and image placement. Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the overall quality. Requirements Proven experience in book writing and publishing for print. Strong skills in graphic design and working with illustrations or images. Familiarity with Canva and/or similar design tools. Knowledge of preparing files for high-quality print output (e.g., CMYK color profiles, bleed lines, DPI requirements). Attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellent work. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively. Preferred Qualifications Experience designing books that include illustrations or image-heavy layouts. Understanding of typography, layout design, and visual storytelling. Familiarity with working alongside AI tools for design enhancement. Files formatted for professional printing, including PDF and source files. Suggestions for print services or recommendations for ensuring high-quality physical copies.
