Freelance Creatives Specialist (Apps)

Drive app growth with mind-blowing creatives 🚀 At Wuzzon, a fast-growing app growth agency in Amsterdam, we don't just help brands get downloads; we drive sustainable growth. To expand and optimize our team, we are looking for a strong, independent Freelance Designer for approx. 50 hours a month to work on various app clients. We primarily work for consumer apps across a wide variety of industries. Do you get energized specifically by designing Ads for Apps, and do you know exactly how to create high-converting creatives for channels like Meta, Google UAC and more? Then we are looking for you! Your Role As a Freelance Designer, you are the creative engine behind our clients' User Acquisition (UA) campaigns. Your focus is 100% on creating engaging advertisements for mobile apps. You will work closely with our App Growth Consultants, who will provide your briefings. You will work as a team to brainstorm ideas and proactively think along what will convert best for the client. We are looking for someone who can smartly simplify and accelerate the creative process using a strong AI workflow. From the consultant's briefing to a quick concept, all the way to client approval: you know how to set this up efficiently using AI tools (like Midjourney, Freepik, and Nano Banano) while strictly adhering to the client's unique branding. You won't have direct client contact; all communication runs internally via Slack, and we manage designs and feedback clearly in Figma. This way, you stay in your creative flow! What You Will Do Start with impact: In the initial phase, your full focus will be on creating converting images for Meta Ads, Google Ads, and other social media channels. In addition to screenshots for the app stores product pages and custom product pages. AI-driven Concepting: Based on the internal briefing, you use your AI workflow (e.g., Midjourney, Freepik, Nano Banano) to rapidly generate unique concept variations to determine the creative direction. Performance & Conversion: You design with a sharp focus on CTR, conversions, and engagement. Delivering App Ads: You have experience in properly formatting and delivering specific App Ads. You deliver full ad sets that are completely ready to launch. Figma as a foundation: You work in Figma, where you manually refine concepts into 100% on-brand visuals (perfectly matched to the client's branding guidelines) and implement feedback from the client and/or Wuzzon directly and accurately. Platform Specs & Approvals: You have a deep understanding of platform specifications and approval requirements (policies) of various ad networks. Future expansion: Down the line, we would love to expand your responsibilities (if applicable) to include App Store pages & ASO screenshots, HTML5 banners (all IAB sizes), Rich media, Video ads for TikTok/Meta, and GIFs including static fallbacks. What You Bring You are available in the short term for approx. 50 hours a month for varying projects. A proven track record in designing social media ad creatives that demonstrably convert, specifically tailored for mobile apps. Proactive and forward-thinking: You don't just execute tasks blindly. We are looking for someone who actively thinks along with us, suggests improvements, and brings fresh ideas to the table. Full independence & fast turnaround: You require minimal instruction and management, can handle the entire production process independently, and deliver all formats flawlessly whilst adhering to deadlines. Experience in setting up an efficient AI workflow, combining tools like Figma with modern (generative) AI tools such as Nano Banano, Midjourney, etc. Strong communication: You communicate lightning-fast and clearly in our internal Slack channels and keep statuses tightly updated.
