Freelance Designer Needed — Ongoing Work with Growing Publisher

About Us We are a busy publisher continuing to grow our catalog and need reliable design help to help us move faster. What We're Looking For A versatile freelance designer who can handle day-to-day design work now, with the skills (or clear potential) to take on full book interior design as our working relationship develops. We want someone we can build a freelance partnership with, not a one-off hire. Immediate Tasks May Include - Social media graphics for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook (especially around upcoming launches) - Product listing graphics - Marketing assets for email campaigns and press kits - Simple promotional materials, ad creative, and seasonal campaign visuals - Mockups and cover concepts for new journal titles - Light photo editing and retouching Ideal Candidate - Strong portfolio showing marketing design and social media work. Work in book design is desired. - Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator - Understanding of print production (bleeds, margins, CMYK, file specs for online and offset) - Clean, warm, heirloom-quality aesthetic sensibility (our books are meant to feel like keepsakes) - Reliable communicator who meets deadlines and takes feedback well - Self-directed but collaborative Nice to Have - Experience designing journals, workbooks, or other prompt-based books - Video or motion graphics skills for social content - Experience with brand systems across multiple product lines Logistics - Start with a small paid test project so we can evaluate fit both ways - Ongoing work available for the right person, with room to grow into larger projects - Flexible hours, remote - Please share your portfolio, hourly rate, and a brief note on your experience with work in social media, book interiors (or your interest in learning) We're looking for someone who cares about the craft and wants to grow with us.
