Freelance English Translator / Proofreader

As part of the growth of our dubbing and audiovisual localization activities, we are looking for a Freelance English Translator / Proofreader. Responsibilities Translate scripts, dialogues, and audiovisual documents from French into English. Review and edit translations to ensure accuracy, fluency, and consistency. Check the linguistic, grammatical, and stylistic quality of texts. Ensure that the tone, cultural context, and original intent of the content are preserved. Collaborate with translation, adaptation, and production teams. Requirements Native-level English proficiency is mandatory (written and spoken). Excellent command of the English language. Experience in translation, proofreading, or linguistic quality assurance, preferably within the audiovisual industry. Strong knowledge of grammar, spelling, and stylistic conventions. Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. Experience in dubbing, subtitling, or audiovisual localization is a plus. Conditions Freelance / independent contractor position. One-time or recurring assignments depending on project needs. Remote work. Compensation: $200 per assignment.
