Freelance Interpreter/Translator – Portuguese, Spanish & English

Location: São Paulo Expo Exhibition Center, São Paulo, Brazil Dates: August 25–27, 2026 Hours: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM daily About the Role: We are seeking a professional, fluent interpreter/translator to accompany us during a 3-day trade show at the Concrete Show 2026 in São Paulo. You will serve as our on-site language bridge, assisting with business conversations, booth interactions, and networking with Portuguese- and Spanish-speaking clients and partners. Key Responsibilities: Provide consecutive interpretation between English, Portuguese, and Spanish during business meetings and casual booth conversations Assist with on-the-spot translation of marketing materials, product descriptions, and technical terms when needed Help facilitate smooth communication with visitors, potential clients, and local partners Act as a cultural liaison to ensure professional and courteous interactions Requirements: Native or near-native fluency in Portuguese and Spanish, plus professional proficiency in English Proven experience as an interpreter, preferably in business, trade shows, or industrial sectors (construction/concrete experience is a plus) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor Based in or able to commute to São Paulo during the show dates Available for the full 3-day period (August 25–27, 1:00–8:00 PM) What We Offer: Competitive daily rate (negotiable based on experience) A dynamic and professional working environment Opportunity to network with international industry professionals How to Apply: Please send your CV/resume and a brief introduction of your interpretation experience attached on upwork .
