**Freelance Korean SEO Content Specialist / Localisation Consultant** We are looking for a **native Korean SEO content specialist** to support an international attractions and entertainment client with Korean-language website content, SEO optimisation, and localisation. This is a freelance subcontractor role supporting an agency-led SEO programme. The work will involve optimising Korean pages, creating or localising content, reviewing keyword opportunities, and helping ensure that recommendations are suitable for Korean users and the Korean search landscape. The ideal candidate will understand that Korean SEO requires more than direct translation. We are looking for someone who can assess native Korean search intent, cultural nuance, local SERP behaviour, and the differences between **Google Korea and Naver**. **Responsibilities** * Conduct Korean keyword research using native Korean search behaviour, not direct English-to-Korean translation * Review Korean SERPs across Google and, where relevant, Naver * Identify search intent, competitor content, content formats, and opportunities for Korean users * Optimise Korean landing pages for attractions, tourism, entertainment, ticketing, and local experience-led searches * Write and/or localise Korean SEO copy in a natural, commercially appropriate tone * Create or review Korean page titles, meta descriptions, headings, FAQs, internal linking recommendations, and on-page content * Advise on Korean language nuance, including spacing, formality level, local phrasing, Konglish/English loanwords, and travel-related search terms * Consider Naver-specific visibility opportunities where relevant, including Blog, Café, local/place results, knowledge-style results, and other SERP features * Review content for cultural relevance, trust, clarity, and conversion intent * Join occasional client or agency calls in English to explain recommendations clearly **Required experience** * Native-level Korean writing ability * Strong written and spoken English * Proven experience in Korean SEO content, SEO localisation, or Korean search strategy * Understanding of both Google Korea and Naver search behaviour * Ability to conduct keyword research directly in Korean * Strong understanding of how Korean users search for attractions, tickets, travel, family activities, entertainment, and local experiences * Comfortable working as a subcontractor under agency direction * Comfortable signing confidentiality, non-circumvention, and client communication terms **Nice to have** * Experience with travel, tourism, attractions, theme parks, aquariums, observation decks, museums, family entertainment, or ticketing websites * Experience with Naver SEO, Naver Blog, Naver Café, Naver Place, or Korean content ecosystem strategy * Familiarity with tools such as Naver DataLab, Naver Search Advisor, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner, or similar * Experience reviewing translated Korean content and improving it for natural Korean search demand * Experience working with international brands targeting Korean travellers or domestic Korean audiences **Important working arrangement** This is an agency-managed freelance role. You may be asked to join client-facing calls, but all project scope, timelines, approvals, commercial discussions, and payment arrangements will be managed by the agency. You must not discuss your freelance rate, agency commercials, or direct employment/contracting opportunities with the client.
