Freelance Medical Reviewer for Wellness / Recovery Content, Ongoing

Our studios offer cryotherapy, contrast therapy, red light therapy, infrared sauna, cold plunge, compression massage, oxygen therapy, IV therapy, nutrient shots, and NAD+ services. We publish a regular blog covering the science and practical benefits of these modalities, and we want every health-related article to be reviewed by a licensed clinician so our readers can trust what they're reading. What we're looking for A US-licensed clinician (MD or DO) to serve as our ongoing medical reviewer. You'll fact-check and medically review our blog content, then provide a "Medically reviewed by [Your Name, Credentials]" byline that we publish on the article. We'll also publish a short professional bio and headshot on our site to establish authorship and trust. This is a recurring, month-to-month engagement with steady work, anticipating 4 to 6 pieces of content to review per month. Responsibilities Review up to 4 to 6 blog articles per month for medical accuracy, safety, and appropriate framing (typically 800 to 1,500 words each, on topics like cold plunge, sauna, red light therapy, IV/nutrient therapy, recovery, and general wellness). Flag any claims that are inaccurate, overstated, or not well supported, and suggest corrections or safer phrasing. Confirm content aligns with responsible health communication (our site does not diagnose, treat, or cure disease, and we point readers to their own physician for personal medical decisions). Provide a medically-reviewed byline for each approved article, including your name and credentials. Occasionally answer quick follow-up questions from our editorial team. Note: This is primarily a review-and-byline role. If you also enjoy writing or lightly editing, let us know, as there may be additional work. Requirements Active, unrestricted US clinical license (MD, DO, NP, RN, PA, or RD). Please state your credential and the state(s) you're licensed in. Comfortable reviewing consumer wellness and recovery content for a general audience. Strong attention to detail and reliable turnaround (typically within 3 to 5 business days per batch). Willing to have your name, credentials, professional bio, and headshot published publicly on our website as the article reviewer. Professional, responsive communication. Publicity, name & bio usage (please read) Because the purpose of this role is to add a credible, named medical reviewer to our content, this engagement requires that we may publicly display your name, professional credentials, likeness (headshot), and a short bio on the reviewed articles and elsewhere on degreewellness.com. By taking this role you grant Degree Wellness a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your name, credentials, bio, and headshot in connection with the content you review, for as long as that content is published. You confirm the credentials you provide are accurate and current. We're happy to sign a simple written agreement covering this, and we'll remove your information from newly published content upon reasonable notice if the engagement ends.
