Freelance Pro Tools Workflow and Support Specialist (Post-Production Audio/Foley)

LOCATION: Remote SCHEDULE: Freelance, As Needed (Project-Based) ABOUT THE ROLE: Foley Party is looking to build a roster of reliable Pro Tools specialists who can provide occasional technical support on an as-needed basis. As project volume grows, there are times when delegating technical setup and troubleshooting allows me to stay focused on recording, creative work, and meeting client deadlines. I'm looking for someone who knows pro tools and that I can rely on for quick turnaround, clear communication, and practical solutions. *This is a freelance, as-needed role with no guaranteed hours. I'm looking to establish a long-term relationship with someone I can reach out to whenever projects arise and technical support is needed. *Because many requests come up during active client projects, responsiveness is one of the most important qualifications for this role. While I understand everyone has other commitments, I'm looking for someone who is generally able to respond quickly and communicate clearly when they're available. EXAMPLES OF WHAT YOU MIGHT HELP WITH: -Setting up or organizing Pro Tools sessions -Importing and organizing AAFs, video, or production audio -Preparing Foley recording sessions -Troubleshooting Pro Tools issues -Session cleanup and organization -Managing routing, templates, or track layouts -Helping solve unexpected technical problems -Providing occasional workflow guidance or answering Pro Tools questions via message or a brief call -Resolving codec issues (by converting files, etc.) -Other post-production Pro Tools tasks as needed Some requests may take only a few minutes, while others may involve preparing an entire session. WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR: -Strong knowledge of Avid Pro Tools -Experience with film and television post-production audio -Familiarity with Foley workflows is preferred -Comfortable working with AAFs, video, session organization, and post-production deliverables -Able to troubleshoot efficiently and explain solutions clearly -Highly responsive and dependable, with the ability to communicate promptly during active projects -Comfortable jumping on short calls when needed -Detail-oriented and organized -Professional, reliable, and easy to work with NICE TO HAVE: -Experience in Foley recording, Foley editorial, dialogue editing, sound effects editorial, or re-recording mixing -Experience working with feature films, television, or narrative projects -Knowledge of common post-production workflows and deliverables TO APPLY: Please include: -A brief summary of your post-production experience -Your experience with Pro Tools -Any Foley or post-production credits (if applicable) -Your typical availability and response time -Your hourly rate (or minimum call rate) -Your time zone
